The redhead goby (Elacatinus puncticulatus, also classified as Tigrigobius puncticulatus) is a tiny, vibrant marine fish known for its bright red head, translucent body, and role as a cleaner fish that picks parasites off larger reef species. Native to the Eastern Pacific from the Gulf of California to Ecuador, it grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) long.

Diet: Carnivorous. Captive-bred specimens readily accept prepared foods like flakes, pellets, and frozen meaty foods including brine shrimp and Mysis shrimp.

Compatible Tankmates: Keep with other small, peaceful fish like clownfish, firefish, cardinalfish, and small blennies. Avoid large predators or aggressive species (like groupers or triggerfish) that can swallow them whole.
